Spirit-Box Series: Chris Huff & Mark Newman

The part that most people miss out on, while conducting paranormal observations, is the post-research and the start of the real work, in tying up the loose ends of what has been experienced on location.

This is particularly important when you have names, places and other choice phrases via EVP or one of the modified audio devices, such as the spirit-box or Echovox.

Such an astonishing example, is evident, in the latest sessions conducted by my colleague and good friend, Christopher Huff and his partner in crime, Mark Newman. They have just completed a marathon of sessions at various RAF Bases in England, this is an ongoing research and communication experimentation, and not finished by a long shot I must add.

Most notably, for this personal call to arms in writing this small piece, is RAF Kelstern, based four miles from both Binbrook and Ludford Magna airfields on the Lincolnshire Wolds. You can read a full report by Chris at http://z3.invisionfree.com/TRIP/index.php?showtopic=5157

Early indications suggest, that via the much attacked, by sceptics, P-SB7 AKA Spirit-box, we have a direct answer to a specific question that ties in to the locality and probabilities, which displays some evidence of spiritual contact.

When asked, out-loud while operating the spirit-box, where did you go to drink, Chris and Mark were met with the answer, straight back, The Black Boy.

On doing some post-session research, I have tracked down such an establishment named The Black Boy, a mere 25.5 miles away in Retford. Now that is only a 40min drive from the base and by no means impossible and most likely acceptable.

My next task was to see if it was present at the time of the base being operational. In my research I found this:

James Cowley b. 1858 in west drayton, notts, he was licensee of The Black Boy Inn, Retford and his first wife Sarah Elizabeth Snowden, 1861, london, fell off the sofa and died in 1906, East Retford, well at the black boy pub actually. Source: http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=410134.0

So we now know the establishment was not a new business and was, in fact, present at the time of the base personnel being operational.

Was this a spirit in communication and revealing the drinking place of those brave RAF folks, a mere 40mins by road, and very much available at the time to quench the thirst, and provide a jolly old-time.

Make of it what you will, we provide the facts and material and trust you to draw personal conclusions.
