UK Government wants to ban spiritual material

In what I term, the greatest attack on freedom of speech, learning and communication via the Internet, David Cameron’s Conservatives, wish to ban Esoteric material in a move headlined as pornography blocking.

On the face of it, many unwitting members of the UK, may think this is a great move from a Government, which is hell-bent on Internet control and the suppression of information.

U.K. Prime Minister David Cameron announced Monday that British Internet service providers (ISPs) must install porn filters and require customers to opt-in for adult content. Reports have linked the filters to controversial Chinese company Huawei, and others have found that the filters will block much more than just porn.

According to several ISPs, users will also be required to opt in for any content tagged as violent, extremist, terrorist, anorexia and eating disorders, suicide, alcohol, smoking, web forums, esoteric material and web-blocking circumvention tools.

This is a move that must be countered by the British public, rest assured if successful, it will not stop at a few choice topics which slipped through the back-door under the guise of a controversial topic

More importantly, from my perspective, is the suppression of Esoteric material. Why would they wish to block material that can free you from external control needs and have you go within and use your own power? Oh wait…

Keep in mind dear reader, Esoteric is a massive catch-all for all our spiritual and self-development practices. I will certainly be watching this one very closely indeed…

Examples of esoteric religious movements and philosophies include Alchemy, Astrology, Anthroposophy, early Christian Mysticism,[4]Freemasonry, Gnosticism, Kabbalah, Neoplatonism, Magic, Merkabah mysticism, Mesmerism, Rosicrucianism, Taoism, Theosophy, Swedenborgianism, Spiritualism, the Alawites,[5] the Christian Theosophy of Jacob Böhme and his followers, and the Theosophical revivalist movement associated with Helena Blavatsky.
