The following is a video created by our colleague – and co-coordinator of TRIP – Mr Christopher Huff! The video is part of the ongoing research into Haunted RAF Airfields by the published author.
Located only four miles from both Binbrook and Ludford Magna airfields on the Lincolnshire Wolds, Kelstern was a half a mile north-east of a First World War night landing ground established in 1917 near Mill Farm. Intended as a refuge for No.33 Squadron Zeppelin hunters running low on fuel, it was little used, the RAF departing in March 1919
I feel absolutely blessed at times, when I sit back and reflect on the research, Investigation and observational work conducted in the country I love. Weekly – if the weather permits such – I travel all over Scotland with one main goal in mind, to answer those questions that people seek; with regards to hauntings and other ghostly behaviour.
I’ve crammed in so much research, in a relatively small period of time, just shy of a decade of constant study with many hypothetical propositions – along with extensive testing – and STILL I’m no closer to the truth.
Haunted Scotland looks at the increasingly interesting area of on-site live audio interaction, allegedly communicating with spirits and non-physical energies. This is achieved via a modified fast scanning radio device, prompting manipulation by any alleged spiritual beings.
Scanning at super-speeds but still managing to form coherent sentences or key phrases, can this device provide afterlife communication with our loved ones or lost souls?
The part that most people miss out on, while conducting paranormal observations, is the post-research and the start of the real work, in tying up the loose ends of what has been experienced on location.
This is particularly important when you have names, places and other choice phrases via EVP or one of the modified audio devices, such as the spirit-box or Echovox.
Too often it has been asserted that any seances or investigations must be conducted in the dark.; this seems to me to be more in tune with the witnessing of phenomenon in Gothic novels rather than physical phenomenon during a paranormal investigation. And then contrary to the logic of the above people start taking flash photographs – Why is this ?? Why do so many insist on Darkness to conduct their forays into the paranormal, is darkness a prerequisite for paranormal activity ??
