Ryan O’Neill with Echovox at Overtoun Bridge Session 2

Ryan, the founder of Scottish Paranormal – and owner of Haunted Scotland – teamed up with Mark Turner the founder of Ghost Finders Scotland and acclaimed medium Bryan Boyle to investigate the mysterious deaths of dogs leaping from Overtoun Bridge.

This is the second session conducted while filming for a forthcoming TV documentary about Overtoun Bridge. The first session is at present private until first premièred on the TV program.

Culross Abbey

Haunted Culross Abbey

Culross AbbeyCulross Abbey is a fine example of a former Cistercian Abbey in Culross. It was headed by the Abbot or Commendator of Culross.

It’s still used as the local parish church by the Church of Scotland.

The abbey was founded in 1217 by Malcolm I, and was first colonised by monks from the Kinloss Abbey.

Culross may have been chosen to establish an abbey because this was the birthplace of Saint Mungo.

It is evident that the abbey was built over the earlier Pictish church – supposedly founded by Saint Serf in the 6th century – as witnessed by the presence in the ruined Cistercian church of early medieval carved stones.

The Provand’s Lordship

The Provand’s Lordship, in Glasgow, is a medieval-period historic house museum located at Castle Street, in the shadow of the Glasgow Cathedral and the Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

Provand’s Lordship was built in 1471 as part of St Nicholas’s Hospital by Andrew Muirhead, Bishop of Glasgow. The Provand’s Lordship was likely to have been used to house clergy, and other support staff of the Cathedral, providing temporary housing.
