The abbey sits in the shadows of both Stirling Castle, and the Wallace Monument, then a little further still we reach Bannockburn.

Haunted Aberdour Castle
Aberdour Castle is located in the village of Aberdour, Fife.
Parts of the castle date from approximately 1200, making Aberdour Castle one of the two oldest datable castles in Scotland, along with Castle Sween in Argyll.

Linlithgow Palace Haunting Video
Linlithgow Palace was one of the main residences for Scotland’s monarchs from the 15th century.
However, after Scotland’s monarchs left for England in 1603, the palace was scarcely used, and then was subject to a burn out in 1746.
Situated 15 miles from the capital city of Edinburgh, Scotland, in a strategic supply line between Stirling Castle & Edinburgh Castle.
Queen Margaret’s Tower at the top of one of the stair towers, is said to be haunted by Mary of Guise, waiting for the return of her husband, James V.

Newark Castle in Fife
Newark Castle is the ruin which is located just outside the town of St Monans, on the east coast of Fife.
Such buildings at this coastal location in Fife, probably date back to the 13th century with stories of the
Scottish King, Alexander III spending some of his childhood here.
The ruins currently visible are the remains of buildings constructed under the ownership of David Leslie in the 17th century.
David Leslie was a prominent figure in the English and Scottish Civil Wars, becoming Lord Newark after them.
Haunted Scottish Castle
The spotlight falls on the impressive MacDuff’s Castle in East Wemyss, Fife, as we take a Haunted Scottish Castle Tour while filming the exploration.
This castle’s associated with the MacDuff Earls of Fife, the most powerful family in Fife during the middle ages.
The present historical ruins are the remains of the home of the Wemyss family, who lived here from the 14th century and are the successors of the MacDuffs.
