Grandfather Reincarnates

A young boy supposedly has memories of a past life in which he was his own grandfather. Plus, Dr. Jim Tucker discusses his and former colleague Dr. Ian Stevenson’s research on children in eastern countries who have spontaneous past life memories.

In their research they found much evidence suggestive of reincarnation, like detailed and accurate memories and physical characteristics carried over from the previous life to the current one (birth marks, deformities, injuries).

Ian Pretyman Stevenson (October 31, 1918 – February 8, 2007) was a Canadian psychiatrist. He worked for the University of Virginia School of Medicine for 50 years, as chair of the department of psychiatry from 1957 to 1967, Carlson Professor of Psychiatry from 1967 to 2001, and Research Professor of Psychiatry from 2002 until his death.
