Details : A twelfth-century castle near the northern end of the M73 , Once the palace of the bishops of Glasgow.
Paranormal Phenomena : It is allegedly haunted by the ghost of Bishop Cameron, who came to a watery end in the fourteenth century (1350) , being found drowned in the fishpond. His apparition, accompanied by strange noises, have been a nuisance for the inhabitants of the place during the centuries. At the end of the 19th century, an exorcist had been called in but didn’t succeed. In the 1970’s, the castle became the property of a antique dealers family – the ghost, the apparition of a large bearded manis said to have visited them several times.
